Governor's 10 percent Water Use Reduction Requirement

Citizens and industries in the level four drought response area of north Georgia were asked to conserve water to help their local governments and water utilities meet Governor Perdue’s directive to reduce water use by 10 percent.  The requirement applied to winter water use from November 2007 through March 2008.
